Many smartphone enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Mi 8. A lot of speculations about this device are being floated around since past few months. Talking about the specifications, we do have an idea what this Mi 8 will pack in, but let’s see what today’s leak (Via) says about the specifications of the Mi 8.
As you can see from the image above, you will notice that this is an image containing the basic specs of Mi 8. Starting with the display, this Mi 8 will sport a 6.2 inch of IPS LCD display with resolution of 2280 x 1080, resulting in 18:9 aspect ratio. As expected this device will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, the most obvious spec we know so far. It has 6 GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, probably a higher end variant of 8 GB RAM is also expected. On the camera perspective, it will have 20MP + 16MP dual rear camera setup with f/1.7 and f/2.0 lens respectively. On the front, there will be 16MP camera with f2.0 lens.
This phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box (also expecting to come with MIUI 10 as well). It will have a smaller 3,300 mAh battery, as compared to 3350mAh battery of its predecessor. The phone will be 7.8mm thin and will weight at 172 grams.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. As this leak does not come from a reliable source, take this list with a pinch of salt.
