After all the leaks, rumours, and teasers, the Chinese brand Huawei’s subsidiary Honor has unveiled its new flagship device called Honor Note 10. The company has launched this device by skipping the Note 9, and it is the successor of Honor Note 8 which was launched in 2016.
The Honor Note 10 sports 6.95-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, it also has an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. That said the device is not coming with the notch that makes the smartphone different than other recently launched phones. The device is powered by octa core Kirin 970 processor and paired with 6 GB & 8 GB RAM, along with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The smartphone also features GPU Turbo, and it improves the graphics performance and reduces the power consumption. The device has 64 GB and 128 GB of onboard storage, and it can be expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card.
Coming to the photography department, it has dual cameras at the back which is in the combination of 24 megapixel + 16 megapixel with f/1.8 aperture, Portrait Mode, AI Scene Recognition, and LED flash, the device also has 13 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The camera of the device also has the Artificial Intelligence ability like AI Scene Detection. Moreover, the device also comes with a dedicated hardware button for the CPU Turbo which doubles the performance and also the camera shutter button. And it also has liquid cooling heat dissipation system that improves heat dissipation inside the device by 41%.
For security, the smartphone supports the fingerprint scanner. Regarding the connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB Type-C. The device runs on Android Oreo 8.1 which is based on EMUI 8.2, and it is backed on 5,000 mAh with 5V/4.5A (22.5W) Fast Charging.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, the pricing of the device starts at ¥2799 (approx. ₹28,110) and it will be available in China from August 1 via VMall. There is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
