Just yesterday, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor unveiled its new smartphone called and the device is coming with 48 megapixel rear camera along with in-display selfie camera. Well, now we got new information about the device and it will make happy to all the Honor fans of the Indian market.
The device is not launched for the global market but the company will sale the smartphone in the Indian market exclusively via Amazon India. The e-Commerce giant Amazon already started to show a banner on its website and users who have interest on the new Honor View 20 can able to click notify me button to know more about the availability details of the smartphone.
Having said that, the company will launch the device for the global markets on January 22 at an event in Paris, and the that means, the device will come into the Indian market on the same day or very soon after the official announcement of global launch.
Well, if you are unaware about the device then we have a refresher for you, it comes with 6.4 inch Full HD+ display with 2310 X 1080 pixels resolution, the device is powered by Octa Core Kirin 980 processor and paired with 6/8 GB of RAM along with Mali-G76 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device has two storage variants – 6 GB RAM with 128 GB of internal storage, and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB of internal storage.
Moving to the photography department, the smartphone rocks dual camera setup and that’s in the combination of Rear Camera: 48 MP (Sony IMX586, f/1.8 aperture) + 3D TOF camera with Portrait Mode, HDR, 960 FPS Slow-Motion video recording, AI Vision, and LED flash. That’s not all, the device is coming with in-display camera on the front side and that’s 25 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. For this, the device has a hole in the top left corner which accommodate the front camera and in this way, the company has managed to unveil a device with the in-display front facing camera. The smartphone also supports Fingerprint Scanner, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, AR Stickers, 3D Qmoji, GPU Turbo 2.0, and Link Turbo.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, USB Type C, USB OTG, and AI GPS. The device runs on MagicUI 2.0.1 which is based on Android 9.0, and the whole device is backed on 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5W (4.5V/5A) fast charging to keep the lights on.
