We know that Samsung will bring Infinity O display in their upcoming flagship line-up, the Galaxy S10 line-up. Infinity O display means the punch hole camera on the display. Samsung usually make a try or one feature of it’s upcoming flagship into it’s premium mid-range device. Same is done with this newly launch Galaxy A9 Pro in South Korea. So let’s have a look..
Starting with the display itself, this Galaxy A9 Pro sports a 6.4 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 2340 x 1080 resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Infinity O design. The front camera is placed at the top left of display. This phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 octa core processor that’s clocked at 2.2Ghz with Kryo 360 CPU cores and Adreno 616 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with expandable storage up to 512GB via MicroSD card.

Coming to the optics of the device, there is Triple Camera setup on the rear. Primary is a 24MP sensor with f1.7 lens. Second camera is a 10MP Telephoto lens with f2.4 lend and 2x optical zoom. Finally third camera is a 5MP depth sensor. Wish Samsung would have gone with a wide angle lens instead of depth sensor, because depth can be created with telephoto lens and software tweaks as well. On the front there is a 24MP sensor with f2.0 lens that’s placed in the punch hole design, at the top of display.
This Galaxy A9 Pro is packed with 3400 mAh battery along with Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and it might get Android 9.0 Pie very soon. Also it’s not specific whether this phone will come with Samsung One UI out of the box or it will get with Android Pie update. Talking about connectivity, this phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It does not have 3.5mm headphone jack. Fingerprint sensor is present at backside of the device. There are three colour options; Grey, Blue, and Green, which will give a shiny look with the glass back.
