We are in the month of February i.e. the month of MWC. But apart from MWC this month is also famous for the announcement of Samsung’s Galaxy S Series. As we are going forward to the Unpacked Event, the amount of leaks are increasing and their legibility is getting stronger. We know how all three variants of Galaxy S10 will look like, but still there are some suspense left in the built itself. So in today’s leak, we might get another information on the fingerprint sensor. So let’s have a look.
This leak gives us a detailed look at the lowest variant i.e. Galaxy S10E or S10 Lite. These are the leaked official press renders of Galaxy S10E. Starting from the front itself, we can clearly see the single punch hole camera. The earpiece is present on the leftover bezel at the top. Rest is only display with a very thin chin. Sadly being a 2019 Samsung flagship, we are expecting bezels to be more shrunk. But let’s see if actual hands-on will be different. Coming to the back, there is dual camera setup present along with LED flash. There is Samsung branding below the camera setup. And the back will have glass material, nothing much to excite about the back.

Now lets come to the side, where the actual information is present. There are strong rumors that all three Galaxy S10 devices will have the in-display fingerprint sensor. But going throw this leak we got something else. If the observation is true then this Galaxy S10 E won’t have an in-display sensor. If you notice clearly at the left side of the image below, you will notice that the power button is slightly pushed in. Well, we have seen this type of power button on Sony smartphones. So it means that this Galaxy S10E will have a fingerprint sensor in the power button itself. It might be the first time we have seen any tier one branding placing fingerprint sensor in the power button, except Sony.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Samsung might have done this for cost cut purpose. And placed the fingerprint sensor in the power button instead of the back so that it will look similar to both higher-end Galaxy S10 models. What are your thoughts on this placement of the fingerprint sensor? Do you think that will Samsung really place fingerprint sensor in the power button or do you still believe in under display sensor? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. Also, stay tuned with us for more information.
