A couple of months ago, Xiaomi unveiled Mi AirDots Youth Edition Wireless Earbuds in the Chinese market and now the new sub-brand of Xiaomi – Redmi has launched a new pair of wireless earbuds and that is dubbed as Redmi AirDots Wireless Earbuds.
The newly unveiled Redmi AirDots is the truly wireless headphones with support for Bluetooth 5.0. The earbuds powered by Realtek RTL8763BFR chip which will help the earbuds to connect to the smartphones when they are removed from the case. Moreover, the Redmi AirDots also has a touch sensitive button, to control music playback as well as voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri.
Having said that, the new AirDots have a 40 mAh battery, which the company claims can offer 4 hours of battery life, and the charging case for the headphones has a 300 mAh battery which can recharge the AirDots to offer up to 12 hours of playback. And the earbuds have 7.2mm dynamic drivers and have a built-in DSP with “environment noise reduction”.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, the earbuds is priced at CNY 99.9 (approx. ₹1,000) and it will available in China from April 9.
