Oppo introduced its new flagship series called Reno in last month and unveiled the Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition, both the devices rocks a side-swing selfie camera, which is a new style of the pop-up camera setup. Well, today the company has launched both Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition in India at an event in New Delhi. Along with the launching of the devices, the company announced its first premium store in South Asia.
Specifications of Oppo Reno
The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch notchless panoramic AMOLED Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and matted with 8 GB RAM along with Adreno 616 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128 GB internal storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Oppo Reno rocks dual camera setup at back and that’s in the combination of 48 MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor + 5 MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, along with 16 MP pop-up front camera with an f/2.0 lens. The smartphone supports an in-display fingerprint scanner and the device also comes with Breeno Smart Assistant.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The device runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6, and packs on 3,765 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Moving to the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition, it sports 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution, and has 19:5:9 aspect ratio, with 100% NTSC color gamut, and also has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and paired with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, along with Adreno 640 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone is available in two storage variants – 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via microSD card.
Moving to the camera section, the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition rocks a triple rear camera setup and that’s in the combination of 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture + 13 MP periscope telephoto lens with f/3.0 aperture + 8 MP Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture, and supports 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom which was unveiled at MWC 2019. On the front, the smartphone features 16 MP pop-up selfie camera. The device also supports Ultrasonic In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, and accompanied by the Breeno Smart Assistant.
Talking about the connectivity, the smartphone supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The device runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6, and backed on 4,065 mAh with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Pricing and availability
The Oppo Reno price in India is set at ₹32,990. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition is coming with the price tag of ₹39,990 for the 6GB RAM variant while the 8GB RAM will have the price tag of ₹49,990. Both the devices will be available from June 7 via Flipkart.
