As promised, today South Korean electronics giant Samsung has launched the new Galaxy Note 10 series in the market of India. The devices were announced earlier this month and it is coming with really cool design and the specifications. So, without wasting anytime let’s dive into to check out the Indian pricing and availability along with refreshment to the specification details of the devices.
Specifications of Galaxy Note 10
This Galaxy Note 10 sports a 6.3 inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2280×1080) resolution and 401 ppi. This resolution is sort of downgrade from previous Note 9. Anyways, it has 19:9 aspect ratio and is HDR+ supported as well. For protection there Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on both front and back. It has 8GB of RAM with 256/512GB of internal storage, but the company launched the 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage variant in India. This phone has Exynos 9825 octa core processor clocked at 2.73Ghz that’s built on 7nm process. For graphics, it has Mali-G75 MP12 GPU.
Regarding Camera, there is triple camera setup on the back. The primary one is a 12MP sensor with variable aperture (f1.5 and f2.4), 1.4μm pixel size, Dual Pixel Autofocus, and OIS. The secondary is 12MP Telephoto sensor with 2x Zoom, f2.1 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size, Autofocus, and OIS. Finally the third is 16MP Ultra wide sensor with f2.2 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size, and no OIS. On the front there’s single 10MP sensor with f2.2 aperture, 1.22μm pixel size, and Dual Pixel Autofocus. The front camera can record videos up to 2k at 30fps.
It can record videos up to 4K at 60fps, and 960fps slo-mo at 720p. Now this time Samsung is giving an advanced camera app for shooting professional videos. This app offer features like Live Bokeh Effect, improved Super Steady Mode, and a built-in video editor to trim or add transitions in the video. This can be useful to make small beautiful videos. And for advance editing, Adobe Premiere Rush can be downloaded free on Note 10 devices as well.
This device runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the Box with OneUI on top. It packs in a 3500mAh battery, which is again smaller than it’s predecessor. But it has upgraded 25W fast charging support with 20W fast wireless charging. There’s under-display fingerprint sensor as well. It has Intelligent Game support for maximum power to be shifted to game. For connectivity, it has 4G, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, aptX HD, and Type-C port.
Specifications of Galaxy Note 10+
This bigger variant comes with few upgrades from regular Note 10. It sports a bigger 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Quad HD+ (3040×1080) resolution and 498 ppi. This is also HDR+ supported and has 19:9 aspect ratio. The camera is the same as Galaxy Note 10, but this variant gets ToF depth sensor as well. With ToF sensor, there is an AR feature which creates 3D models of real-life objects (with the dimension of 80x80x80cm).
It has 12GB RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage. But this one also has MicroSD expansion up to 1TB. And it will be hybrid SIM setup in dual SIM models. There’s big 4300mAh battery with massive 45W fast charging, it’s fastest Samsung device charging right now. But the 45W charger has to be bought separately, as the in-box charger will only be of 25W.
Now here comes the USP of Galaxy Note series since ever, the S-Pen. But this year the S-Pen is improved a lot in terms of functionality and productivity. Accelerometer and Gyroscope have been added to this pen for more features like screen off memo, doodling on video while recording it, and a lot more.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is priced at ₹69,999 while the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ carries a price tag of ₹79,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while its 512GB storage option is priced at ₹89,999. Both the devices will go on sale from August 23.
