The South Korean electronics brand LG has a very secure place in the electronics industry but the company does not have good times in the mobile market. The company is continuously losing share and the revenues in the mobile industry but it’s not ready to give up and it is planning to come back like a boss. This year, at CES 2020 event LG executive already confirmed that the company will come back to the track by 2021. The company has figured out the new plans for mobile division and maybe this will help them to boost their business and come back into a profit mode.
According to the latest plan of LG, the company will only sell it’s premium 5G enabled smartphones in the market of North America and Europe, and the company will move the production of entry-level smartphones along with mid-ran devices to ODMs.
Having said that, the company will focus on more affordable ‘mass premium’ devices with the power of 5G in home market and that is mainly because of South Korea is very sensitive in terms of pricing. And the company will unveil the majority of its devices with the capability of the 5G network.
