Xiaomi has launched the all-new Mi TV ES 2022, alongside Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition in China. These TVs will represent the higher end TV selection from Xiaomi. It is the company’s offering to rival the models from Samsung or LG and there is no word on its availability outside China. It will come in three screen sizes – 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch. The Mi TV ES 2022 arrives with a multi-zone backlit system with multiple partitions. The TV sports 4K resolution as well and offers 94% DCI-P3 colour space. The display panel peaks at 700 nits of brightness and have a 97% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, it is powered by the  MediaTek MT9638 chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage. For superior audio quality, Xiaomi has included 4x 12.5W speakers with a two-channel system. The speaker set also supports stereo playback. For voice recognition, there is XiaoAI voice assistant in inbuild. As it’s a smart TV there is support for Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi for connecting other devices.
The Xiaomi Mi TV ES 2022 55-inch model is priced at 3,399 Yuan (~526 USD), the 65-inch variant will go on sale with an MRP of 4,399 Yuan (~680 USD). Finally the largest of the bunch, the 75-inch version will have a price tag of 5,999 Yuan (~930 USD). It will go on sale from July 9 across the country.
