At the recent Honor Smart Life event in China, the newly independent company Honor Vision X2 Series smart TVs was officially announced in their own country. Along with these smart TV models, the brand has also launched some other products.
The Honor Vivian X2 Smart TV comes in three different sizes – 43 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. All three models have 4K UHD screens, 92 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and 25 percent enhancement over first-generation panels.
The smart TV has a very large sound compartment design and claims to be able to communicate with four major video platforms. It also has unique smart four-field voice controls such as multi-screen collaboration, multi-terminal cooperation, low latency and high picture quality.
They are powered by a MediaTek chipset consisting of four Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali-G52MC1 graphics processor. In terms of memory, TVs have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The dual-band (2.4GHz, 5GHz) WLAN chip device packs with a 2 × 2 MIMO antenna for high-speed Internet connectivity. It is equipped with a self-developed cast + projection protocol that can reduce projection delays by more than 60 percent. The RJ-45 comes with USB-A and HDMI ports.
The company says that the Honor Vision X2 models provide an ultimate user experience. It is Run Company’s own Magic UI out-of-the-box. It is yet to be confirmed whether the Magic UI is based on Harmony OS or the Android operating system. Although its predecessor was Huawei’s first smart TV running Harmony OS, now that Honor is a separate entity, it may use Android this time around.
