The popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo introduced its Oppo Reno 7 series a couple of months back and recently the company introduced a Reno7 Pro League of Legends special edition as well. Now to welcome the upcoming 2022, Oppo has introduced another special edition called the Oppo Reno 7 New Year Edition. It is coming with attractive red colour and the internet is same as the original version.
The latest Oppo Reno 7 edition is coming in bright red colour and the same features a velvety texture. If you are unaware then the upcoming 2022 is called the Year of the Tiger and to reflect that, the company has used a logo of a tiger along with the Oppo branding. It is worth mentioning that the company has golden lines on the camera rings.
It will be available in three models such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These variants are priced at 2,699 Yuan, 2,999 Yuan, and 3,299 Yuan respectively. The pre-orders will start on December 27 but the company is yet to reveal the availability date.
It sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED Display with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR support. It comes with Snapdragon 778 5G processor with Adreno 642L GPU. It has 8GB RAM with 128/256GB storage options and a 12GB+256GB variant as well. This one has triple camera setup of 64MP main (f1.7 lens), 8MP wide angle, and 2MP Macro. It can record videos up to 4K at 30fps and has Gyro based EIS. On the front there’s 32MP shooter with f2.4 lens.
It packs in a 4,500mAh battery with 60W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 12 on top. There’s under display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers as well.
