The South Korean electronics giant Samsung recently enabled eSIM support for some of its current generation foldable smartphones in the selected regions like the United States and now we got a new piece of information that suggests the upcoming foldable smartphones of the company will support the new capability in its home country South Korea.
According to the latest information, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 smartphones will be the first to have eSIM support for the South Korean market.
The telecom operators in South Korea haven’t rolled out eSIM services over several factors, including concerns about SIM card sales, among others.
The company will be launching the new devices very soon and it is expected to be announced the next month.
