Redmi K50i 5G smartphone will be official in India on July 20 and recently the company confirmed the information related to the chipset which will power the upcoming smartphone. Now it is revealed that the company has passed the 5G test in India and that was conducted with the popular telecom operator of the country Reliance Jio.
In a joint announcement by Redmi India and Reliance Jio, it is revealed that the smartphone performed really well during the network testing and the test showcased that the device can able to manage the extreme situation as well.
It is also revealed that the device can able to offer high download and upload speeds as well and the device performed really well during 4K streaming test as well.
The upcoming Redmi K50i is the first Redmi smartphone to feature 12 5G bands to increase access to the fast 5G network.
Just a couple of days ago, the company officially confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K50i 5G smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 mobile processor. It is worth mentioning that the chipset is featuring four Cortex-A78 performance cores clocking at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro and the same will feature a 144Hz refresh rate display along with 64 megapixel primary sensor on the back. It will run on Android 12 out of the box and the device will also support a fast charging solution.
