The search engine giant Google introduced a pilot project in the early days of this year and that will enable brands to offer its own or third party payments system, the project is dubbed User Choice Billing. Now the same is available on Spotify but it is worth mentioning that the new setup is currently available in selected countries only.
It is officially announced that Spotify will now offer User Choice Billing but the company will continue to offer the option of Google Play billing as well.
Having said that, the search engine giant Google will still get a cut of all the transactions and reduce the payment commission by 4 percent.
Anyways, it is good from the point of view of a customer as he or she is getting more options to make payments for the music streaming platform.
