Google Meet is one of the very popular video conferencing applications and the same many online meetings and gets together during the pandemic. Now the developers of Google Meet have updated the platform and the same will offer captions on video recordings.
It is officially confirmed that Google has updated the Google Meet with the support for captions on video recordings and the translated caption feature was first rolled out in the month of January last year but the same was limited to live meetings.
The new update will definitely make recordings more useful and accessible for meeting participants. It is worth mentioning that the feature will only work with Workspace admin and only the meeting host or co-host meeting with captions.
Currently, users can view captions in Dutch (beta), English, French, German, Italian (beta), Japanese (beta), Korean (beta), Mandarin (Traditional) (coming soon), Portuguese (beta), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian (beta), Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain).
