Carl Pei, who is the co-founder of OnePlus but he left the company last year to unveil his own brand dubbed Nothing, and unveiled two TWS earbuds and a smartphone with premium design and impressive specifications. Well, now the backbone of Nothing – Carl Pei has reviewed the newly announced OnePlus 11 flagship smartphone and finds out some flaws and he has also praised the device as well. Carl Pei calls the OnePlus 11 phone “beautiful” and he says that the designing set up of the device might attract customers at the first. He also says that the subtle textures of the camera module and how the edges of the phone appear thinner than they actually are.
On the other hand, he criticize the corner-cutting of the device and the same includes how the camera module appears to be connected to the side frame but it is not really and he is also saying that some misaligned button placement. But overall he is impressed with the premium feel of the latest and greatest OnePlus 11.
After that, he talked about the software and it seems that this is for the first time he is using OxygenOS since the UI switches over to the codebase of ColorOS. It is said that he is not having any clue about why the company took the decision to do something which messes with the custom skin. It is also said that there are issues with the usability of the software, opening the app drawer, and text blocks that were designed with Chinese characters in mind.
