WhatsApp is consistently bringing new features on the board and now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the instant messaging application will enable users to report the status update. This particular capability is available to the beta testers only at this moment.
The beta testers will be getting a new option called “report” and the same will be available within the status options of the application. WhatsApp is trying to make a safe environment with the new feature as the same will enable users to report any status update which might violate the Terms of Service of WhatsApp.
Once the status has been reported by someone, the same will be sent to the moderation team of WhatsApp. The feature will also make sure that the calls, messages, location sharing, media and status updates are protected by end-to-end encryption.
