The popular mobile chipset maker Qualcomm is working on the upcoming Snapdragon SM7475 CPU and the same is expected to feature a tri-cluster design. Now Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group Vice President and General Manager of the Redmi brand has officially teased the mobile processor.
The top most executive of the Chinese electronics giant did not reveal any information about the mobile processor but it is suggested that the same will be powering the upcoming Redmi smartphone. It is expected to be dubbed as “Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 2”.
On the other hand, the WHYLAB is saying that the new SoC will be powering the Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone and the device will be official globally as POCO F5. While Digital Chat Station also claimed that the mobile processor is based on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication node.
It is also suggested that multiples smartphones brands have collaborated with the chipset maker for the mobile processor.
