Samsung had a tradition of launching its flagship smartphone series with Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets in different regions, but this year the company introduced the Samsung Galaxy S23 series with the latest and greatest Snapdragon chipset only. However, today we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the company will switch its strategy once again and it will offer Exynos SoCs in its flagship devices next year. According to the latest information, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung will be using its new Exynos 2400 mobile processor next year in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
It is reported that Samsung will start the mass production of the chipset in 2024 and the same will be manufactured using the ‘improved’ 4LPP variant.
The chipset is expected to feature an octa-core architecture and the same will have 10 cores. The chipset may have the following cores: one Cortex-X4 (3.1 GHz), two Cortex-A720 cores (2.9 GHz), three Cortex-A720 cores (2.6 GHz), and four Cortex-A520 cores (1.8 GHz).
