Honor has finally launched its latest folding smartphone, called Honor Magic V5. And it is the slimmest folding device. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display along with a huge 6100 mAh battery along with an impressive camera setup, and more. So here are the full details of the device.

The newly announced Honor Magic V5 comes with a 7.95-inch inner flexible OLED display with a 2K resolution, up to 5,000 nits brightness level, and a 4,320Hz PWM dimming rate. The device also comes with a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED outer screen. Both displays feature a 120 Hz refresh rate.
It comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of onboard storage. The device runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.1 and the device also features Deepseek-backed AI productivity features.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Honor Magic V5 features a triple rear camera setup that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with optical image stabilisation (OIS). It also features up to 3x optical zoom. The device also comes with two 20-megapixel sensors, one on the inner screen and the other camera is on the outer display.
The device comes with two battery options. The 16GB + 1TB variant of the Honor Magic V5 houses a 6,100mAh battery, while the other versions of the device come with a 5,820mAh battery. All models feature 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
It also comes with IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports dual nano SIM, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The folding device measures 8.8mm in thickness when folded and 4.1mm when the device is unfolded.
In terms of the pricing and availability, the Honor Magic V5 has a starting price of CNY 8,999 and the device will be available in China from July 4.
