After introducing several interesting ideas like rollable screens, dual displays, experimental hinges. Now Lenovo has introduced a new product at the CES 2026 event and it is the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist.
It is a normal 14 inch laptop but the hinge is built in a motorized mechanism that will enable the OLED touchscreen rotate and tilt on its own. The display can adjust based on where you’re sitting, switch orientations automatically, or move into tablet-style. Everything will be done with your voice which means you don’t need to touch the device.

The device features a 2.8K OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has the power of the Intel’s new Panther Lake Core Ultra 300 processors, paired with up to 32GB of DDR5-9600 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. The device comes with a large 75Wh battery. You will be getting two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone jack. The device also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It also features a 10MP IR webcam for Windows Hello, along with quad speakers and microphones.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist is set to launch in the US in June 2026, starting at $1,649.
