The popular mobile chipset maker MediaTek has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming chipset dubbed the MediaTek Dimensity 8500. So let’s get into the article to check out the new piece of information.
It is officially announced that the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC will be officially unveiled on 15th January at 3 PM (local time). Based on the previous reports, the upcoming processor is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and the chipset uses an 8-core setup based on ARM’s A725 architecture. It is also expected that the prime core apparently hits 3.4GHz (slightly higher than 3.25GHz on MediaTek Dimensity 8400).
The upcoming processor will be coming with the Mali-G720 GPU for the graphical task that is scaled up and running at around 1.5GHz. Popular brands including Xiaomi, Honor, Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, and more could launch their devices powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC.
