It is worth mentioning that this is actually a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad Air 5 which was introduced in China recently and the same is also known globally as the OnePlus Pad Go 2. The latest Oppo Pad 5 features a slim and lightweight design, along with a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, a 2800 x 1980 pixels resolution, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screen delivers up to 600 nits of typical brightness and 900 nits peak brightness, supports 1 billion colours, and covers 98 percent DCI-P3 in Vivid mode and 100 percent sRGB in Natural mode.
Oppo has introduced the Oppo Pad 5 with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device houses a large 10,050mAh battery with up to 33W SuperVOOC Flash Charge, along with UFCS, PPS, and PD charging standards.
The latest Oppo Pad 5 runs ColorOS 16.0 out of the box. Speaking about the camera department, the device features an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, with support for 1080p video recording. It comes with features include keyboard and stylus support. The device supports Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, and face unlock support.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Wi-Fi-only variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹26,999, while the 5G + Wi-Fi variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs ₹32,999. The device will be available from January 13 through Flipkart and the official channels in the country.
