The latest Poco M8 comes with a 6.77″ 3D curved AMOLED FHD+ display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3200 nits peak brightness. The display also supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and 68.7 billion colours. It also features TÜV Triple Certification, including TÜV Low Blue Light, TÜV Flicker-Free, and TÜV Circadian certifications. The device also supports 3840Hz PWM dimming below 80 nits and DC dimming above 80 nits.
Poco has introduced the latest POCO M8 5G smartphone with the power of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 mobile processor, along with up to 16GB RAM in total, comprising 8GB physical RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. The device also features up to 256GB of internal storage, and the storage can be further expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. It is running on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 along with Google Gemini, Circle to Search with Google. The device will be receiving 4 major software updates and 6 years of security updates.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Poco M8 features a 50MP Dual AI rear camera with a Light Fusion 400 large-aperture sensor, 2× in-sensor zoom, and 4K video recording with stabilisation. The device also comes with a 20MP selfie camera with AI-enhanced portrait clarity and automatic portrait detection. The device also includes features like Live Photo, Retro Film Camera mode, AI Magic Eraser Pro, AI Sky Replacement, and AI Reflection Removal.
The device houses a large 5520mAh EV-grade silicon carbon battery with 45W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. The device also comes with Battery Health 4.0 and TÜV-certified 5-year battery durability. The device supports dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and up to 300% volume boost. The device also comes with durability features including IP66 dust and water resistance, Wet Touch 2.0, anti-drop and scratch protection, SGS MIL-STD-810 certification, and drop resistance tested up to 1.7 metres.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Poco M8 will be available from January 13 via Flipkart. The device with effective prices starting at ₹15,999, inclusive of all discounts.
