The upcoming POCO M8 will be coming with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 mobile processor along with 8GB of RAM. The upcoming device will be coming with the support of 16GB with 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. The company has also shared the AnTuTu benchmark scores as well, with the device achieving more than 825,000 points.
It will be running on the Android 15 OS with HyperOS 2 custom skin out of the box. Unfortunately, this device is said to receive 4 years of OS updates along with 6 years of security patches.
The device was previously confirmed to come with the IP66 rating dust and water resistance. The device will also support the Wet Touch 2.0 technology and the same will enable users to operate the device with wet, greasy, and sweaty hands.
It is also passed the drop test for up to 1.7 meters and the device has received the SGS MIL-STD-810 military-grade toughness certification. The device will feature a 6.77″ 3D curved display with 2392 x 1080 pixels resolution, 68.7 billion colors, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 3200 nits peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said that the device will be the segment’s ‘most durable 3D curved display phone’.
