Everything about LG CLOiD AI Home Robot
The company publicly showcased the device at the CES 2026 event and in one example, the latest LG robot takes milk from a refrigerator and prepare breakfast. After the occupants leave the house, the robot started the laundry, then folds and stacks clothes. So it is clearly showcased how the robot can manage the daily household activities.
It includes a head unit, a torso with two articulated arms, and a wheeled base with autonomous navigation. The torso can tilt to change height, and the same will enable the robot to pick up items from knee level and from higher surfaces. Each arm of the robot has seven degrees of freedom, similar to a human arm, with movement at the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. Each hand of the robot also has five independently actuated fingers as well.
The wheeled base also comes with autonomous driving technology and the same is derived from LG’s robot vacuum products and the LG Q9. The head of the latest LG CLOiD functions as a mobile AI home hub including the primary chipset, a display, a speaker, cameras, multiple sensors, and voice-based generative AI.
