It was recently reported that the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra will share several important specifications with the recently announced Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, including the display, processor, speakers, vibration motor, and fingerprint sensor. So the upcoming device will be coming with a 6.9-inch OLED 2K display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and it will house an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor.
The device is reported to come with a major difference and the upcoming device will be coming with a large circular camera design. It is reported that the upcoming device will be coming with a premium gold colour option that will be emphasising its core strength lies in photography.
It is expected that the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be coming with the largest main camera sensor in the industry and it will be coming with a new generation of periscope telephoto technology and the same will be developed exclusively by Xiaomi. The device is also expected to come with “multiple camera tricks” and it will feature a new external lens solution.
The upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra will come with a 50-megapixel main camera with an enhanced in-sensor zoom technology, and a seamless transition to its telephoto lens for lossless focal range coverage. The device is also expected to feature a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HPE periscope telephoto camera with 4×4 RMSC technology. The device is also expected to feature an OmniVision OV50M 50-megapixel front camera.
It is expected that the device will miss the secondary display and the device will be available in two variants, while both will have UWB (Ultra-Wideband) support and the top-end variant will support Tiantong satellite calling along with Beidou short message communication.
