Back in last year during the MWC event, the popular Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi revealed about its upcoming Modular Optical System and it is now reported to enter into mass production and will be available commercially early this year.
It is actually a detachable camera module with a 100MP micro four-thirds sensor with a 35mm f/1.4-f/11 lens and a manual focus ring. It is capable to provide native 2x zoom with pixel binning.
