YouTube offers the YouTube Premium subscription plan is there to remove advertisements and also to allow users to listen background playback but many crafty developers created various loopholes to offer free background playback capability and it has been used by certain users for free. One of the simplest approaches was the usage of a third party browser like Brave or among others to play content in the background.
Having said that, Google has finally confirmed that it is cracking down on such loopholes and completely stopping the background playback abilities. Currently, we don’t have any clue about the way of implementation by Google to stop this particular capability for non YouTube Premium members.
