At the MWC this year, we all were damn excited for the Nokia’s event. We were expecting a flagship phone by Nokia, but we got disappointed when Nokia didn’t even launched any premium phone. Now today we have got two different leaks of Nokia 9. One is the live image/specs leak and other is the benchmark leak. So let’s have a look at both leaks, one by one.
Geekbench Specs Leak:
So we have a trustable specs leak of Nokia 9, Geekbench benchmarks. This Nokia 9 comes with Qualcomm’s MSM8998 (Snapdragon 835) octa core chipset clocked at 1.90Ghz . It comes with 4GB of RAM & runs on Android 7.1.1 nougat out of the box. The model no. is HMD Global TA-1004. The single-core result is 2255 and the multi-core result is 7770. Do note that this benchmark has been done through Geekbench 3, not the 4, so the results will be different on Geekbench 4.
Specs & Live Photos Leak:
In this leak we got some more leaked specs as well as live photos. 1st let’s talk about the specs, here we have a photo of the phone with CPU-Z app. So this Nokia 9 will have ‘qcom’ processor that means Qualcomm’s processor. It will sport a 5.27” Quad HD Display with 557 PPI. It has 4GB of RAM b& 64GB of internal storage, do note that there might be a 6GB RAM variant as well with 128GB of internal storage.
Now coming to the leaked photos, as you can see above this phone has Dual Camera Set-up with Dual tone LED flash. The user interface also seems like a near stock Android UI, see the picture below. The similar Pixel icons & same app drawer. In the pictures the phone’s built is covered except some ports i.e. headphone jack, volume rockers, whole front and Type-C port. It has fingerprint sensor on the front. It has touch-type capacitive buttons.
Now coming to some leaked camera interface & sample photos. You can clearly see that the image turned out doesn’t seems like a 2017 flagship camera. The colour tones, exposure, etc. are not up to the mark. Do note that as this is a pre-production unit so the actual images from final unit might turn out better. There will be a live video option right from the camera.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. We are expecting this phone to launch soon. Mostly in June end or July. Until then stay tuned with us for more information.
