Google’s newly launched instant messaging app, Google Allo has updated to version 2.0, the new update brings many cool features. In this article I’ll cover you with all the new features.
- Direct Reply
In the first update, the instant messenger brings direct reply feature from the notification panel. The is one of most wanted feature, to give quick reply.
- Direct Share
In Android Marshmallow, the OS allows you to share stuffs directly to friend. Even without opening an app and selecting the recipient. But the Allo messenger lacks this feature in the first version. Thanks to the new update, now the messenger supports the direct share feature.
- Support for Android Wear
The messenger now supports Android Wear, you can reply with your voice and send emoji’s.
- GIF Keyboard Support
The messenger now allows you to send GIF through Keyboard. This feature can be use on Android 7.1 onwards.
- Other improvements
The messenger now supports multi window and incognito key alerts, and there is a splash screen. The messaging application now has a launcher to create a new conversation.
Google has already started to rolled out the update, it will take some time to reach on all devices. So, grab your smartphone and check for the update.
