Just yesterday Google Assistant got the ability to song recognition, and now the digital assistant of Google gets yet another handy feature, which actually taken from Google’s own instant messaging application Allo.
Since the Allo instant messaging application launched it has the ability to give the subscription to few services like weather, quotes, news updates and much more, and it was powered by the Google Assistant. Now Google has sharpened the Assistant with giving the subscription feature.
To set up a subscription, you need to touch and hold the home button, and say one of the following commands:
- Send me weather everyday
- Send me a poem everyday
- Send me a quote everyday
- Send me a funny video everyday
- Send me a fun fact everyday
- Send me a mindfulness tip everyday
And then the Assistant will ask if you’d like to receive this information everyday, tap yes. You can then choose a time to receive your update. That’s all, your digital assistant will push the services on your fingertips.
And if you wished to see the complete list of your subscriptions, then just say “See my subscriptions” or ask “What are my subscriptions?”. And if you want to cancel any subscription at any time by asking for a list of your subscriptions, tapping on the one you’d like to edit, then tap change time or cancel the subscription.
