The upcoming feature will allow users to request assistance by saying, help three times.
The source has spotted the new voice-activated Emergency SOS feature in the Personal Safety App code with build version 2026.09.16.982745548. The guys at Android Headlines have discovered and the new feature is believed to enable users to request help by simply saying “Help” three times.
It is also mentioned that an additional step will be required that will ask users to confirm the action through a verbal confirmation. It is also said that the upcoming feature will be capable to trigger real-time location sharing, emergency video recording, and calling first responders once the SOS is activated.
