The newly announced Gemini 4 Argon is capable to deliver frontier performance in complex workflows across real-world software engineering, enterprise knowledge work like legal and finance, and cybersecurity defense.
It is already said that the model is helping teams build faster, and it is able to push the boundaries of engineering productivity and accelerate breakthroughs in quantum algorithmic optimisation, memory efficiency, and large-scale codebase migrations and optimisations.
The company has also revealed that on its internal comprehensive vulnerability benchmark, the latest model has uncovered a wide range of exposures across complex codebases spanning 20 programming languages.
It is confirmed that the new model is rolling out to a set of trusted cyber defenders through Google’s Fairwind Program. The cyber defenders and early testers will be providing real-world evaluations and feedback that will be beneficial to strengthen its systems. Google will be introducing the new model at an introductory price of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached input tokens priced at 95% off the input token price. After the introductory period expires, the price of the model will be $4 per 1M input tokens and $20 per 1M output tokens.
