Now you can download and save maps on your smartphone and you can access it offline. With this update you can save maps before you plan for a trip and can access it, if you lose or you are unaware from the exact direction to reach the location safely.

Google also introduces Wi-Fi mode, which really comes handy. If you don’t have enough data, then just enable the ‘Wi-Fi Only’ and you can now use Google Maps without losing your mobile data.
The new features are only available for android users, sorry to the iOS users you guys have to wait little more to get these features on your device.
Note: When you download a map, it will be stored in the internal storage. So, always leave some space in your internal storage.
