Google is always tries to make things easier for us, and now they introduced a delta algorithm which will reduce the size of app update. At present Play Store shows the size of the app while the exact size of the App update remains hidden, and it results, users to lose lots of data especially for those who uses the mobile data.

With new improvement Google will change this condition because they will show the actual size of the app updates in the description. This will help users to free up space in their device before updating an app or even one can also decide if they should update it right now or later depending on their mobile data balance.
As per Google, almost 98% app updates only the changes between new and current version and merge with old files. But in the new improvement this process become more efficient and would reduce the update size of an app, by up to half of its original size this will definitely reduce data usage.
It will also reduce the size of big app size upto 12%. So this is a good news for everyone who uses the Google Play Store and that’s a lot of us.
