Google has updated Chrome app to version 52 for android users. The latest update brings many improvements to the Chrome. With this update, Chrome will give smoother video playback and it also enhance the speed and power efficiency.
The browser will now load videos five times faster and it will also reduce power consumption of the device.
Moreover, now videos will run with Data Saver Mode. If you enabled data saver, then you will save 50% of your total data.

What actually happens in ‘Data Saver Mode’
When this feature is enabled, videos will be show in lightweight version. That’s why you are saving your data.
This improvement is noticeable for short videos which make majority of videos on the web. As many website moving to HTML5, the video viewing on Chrome will be awesome.
Google also fixed some other bugs and performance improvements and return of tab switching in 5.0 and higher. The new update is rolling out slowly, check for the update in the play store.
