Back in May, the Facebook owned Introduced the ability of sharing media’s via mobile web. And now the company wants to give more features to the web users, As Instagram announces the ability of viewing Stories on both the mobile and desktop version.
Moreover, Instagram users will also be able to upload Stories via the mobile web, which is really handy for those who wants to edit the images and videos before sharing them as Stories. And the developers of Instagram have added arrows to navigate around the Stories of your dear and near ones.
The update for viewing Stories on web is already started to roll out, and the upload feature is expected to arrive in coming months. Unfortunately, the upload feature will not be available for the desktop users of Instagram.
Recently, Facebook bought the Stories viewing ability to its website and also on the web client of WhatsApp (which is dubbed as Status). And now by launching the feature on the web version of Instagram, it is clear that Facebook targeting to increase the number of Stories users. As the users who can’t use app on low-end devices can be attracted to the Stories via web.
