After hearing rumors of the Lenovo’s Moto M from quite some times, now today Lenovo has finally announced Moto M in China.
It has a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED 1080p display carrying PPI of 401 pixels per inch. It has a 2.5D curved glass on top. There’s no information about the screen protection but we expect gorilla glass on top. Moto M has a metal body that’s slightly curved from back. The device also has fingerprint scanner at the backside this time, earlier Moto devices have fingerprint on front.
Moto M has MediaTek’s Helio P15 octa core processor clocked at 2.2Ghz with Mali T860 MP2 GPU. The device is paired with 4GB RAM, and it has 32 GB Internal Storage and can be expandable upto 128 GB via microSD card.
It has 16MP Camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus & dual tone LED flash, and there is also an 8MP front facing camera with an 85° wide angle lens. It lacks Laser auto focusing system which is present in Moto G4+.
It runs on Android Marshmallow version 6.0 with Vibe UI. This is the first Moto phone with Vibe UI. That means it will also come with some bloatwares like Microsoft apps, etc. The device is backed on 3050 mAh battery with quick charging (not fast charging because the charger is a 5V 2A charger) with a USB Type C port.The device has Nano coating splash proof that protects the phone from minor water splashes. But it can’t be dipped into water.
Now coming to Audio section; it has dual front facing speakers with Dolby Atmos, and Yeah it has headphone jack. Connectivity wise; it has 4G VoLTE, Dual Sim, NFC & Bluetooth 4.1 support.

This phone is priced at 1999 yuan which translates to 295 USD or Rs. 19700. It will be available in China from 11th November. No news about availability in Other countries.
