Motorola Made Moto C and Moto C Plus Official

After many leaks of rumours, Motorola finally unveiled their new entry level line-up, Moto C. They unveiled two phones under the C line-up, Moto C and Moto C Plus. Both phones are entry level phones and comes under Moto E line-up in terms of specs, built and price. All the internals are pretty much same as what we got in leaks. But now let’s have a look at those specs in an official way.

1st let’s talk about Moto C, the younger one. Moto C comes with MediaTek’s MT3767M quad core processor clocked at 1.1Ghz . It sports a 5” FWVGA display with 854×480 screen resolution. It has just 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that’s expandable upto 32GB. It has 5MP rear camera with 1.4 micron pixels, fixed focus & LED flash. Also it has 2MP front camera with 1 micron pixel, fixed focus & LED flash. It packs with 2350mah removable battery. On the software side, it runs on Android 7.0 nougat out of the box. Also it weights at 154gms and is 9mm thick, so it will be a little bulky to hold.

Now coming to Moto C Plus, the better one. The Moto C Plus comes with the same MediaTek’s MT3767M quad core processor which is slightly more clocked at 1.3Ghz . It sports a 5” 720p HD display. It has slightly better 2GB RAM and the same 16GB storage that’s also expandable upto 32GB. It has 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 lens, autofocus, 1.12 micron pixels and LED flash. Now the other big difference between both phones is the battery, this Moto C Plus has a huge 4000mah battery that will easily last for 1 & half days. It also runs on Android 7.0 nougat out of the box. Because of the bigger battery it weights at 162gms and have more thickness of 10mm, means it will be even more bulky to hold than regular Moto C.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. As you have seen the specs you clearly noticed that these specs are very outdated except the battery & software and also comes in very low budget. The Moto C is priced at €89 for 3G model and €99 for 4G model. The better Moto C Plus is priced at €118. Both phones comes in metallic cherry, starry black, pearl white and fine gold. As of now Motorola didn’t revealed dates for availability but they said that it will available starting springs for Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Stay tuned with us for more information.
