If we talk about the comeback of Moto X4, we know that the launch got delayed because of the lack of Snapdragon 660 processors, and Moto X4 might launch on 4th quarter of this year in USA with Google Project Fi service. But the phone might launch to other regions in 3rd quarter also. Now today we have some leaked specs of Moto X4, which claims to be different in 1 aspect from what we have heard from previous leaks. So let’s have a look at them.
According to this leak, the Moto X4 will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 octa core processor clocked at 2.2Ghz , instead of Snapdragon 660 which we got to know from previous leaks. Now seems like the Moto X4’s launch didn’t got delayed due to the lack of Snapdragon 660, maybe it’s Snapdragon 630. Now coming to other leaks, this phone will sport a 5.2” Full HD display along with aluminium built. It will have 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of on-board storage and MicroSd Card slot. The phone will run on Android 7.1 nougat out of the box with Motorola’s near stock UI. The battery capacity is 3000mAh with no information of fast charging. Fingerprint sensor is placed on the front, and it has gesture controls which can perform tasks of navigation buttons (Back, Home, & Recent Apps).
Now coming to 1st USP of this phone, it will have IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. 2nd USP is the camera, it will have 8MP+12MP Dual Rear Camera Setup along with 16MP Front Camera.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. As the phone will have Snapdragon 630 instead of 660, we are expecting the price not to be much expensive as compared to Moto G5 Plus.
