OriginOS 6 announced

The latest OriginOS 6 custom skin is officially announced and it is based on the Android 16 operating system. This operating system will be powering both Vivo and iQOO devices. The new version brings redesigns to the user interface and the same offers changes to the look of the home page, lock screen, apps, and more.
You will be getting in-depth customization options for widgets on the home screen, while the new version of the custom skin also features Apple Liquid Glass inspired UI. The widgets are getting more curved and the applications are now circular. Vivo has also integrated the new Blue River Smooth Engine for improved computing, dual rendering architecture, smoother animations, and more responsiveness to the interface, making app switching more seamless as well. iQOO 15 Launch Date Confirmed

It is officially announced that the highly anticipated iQOO 15 flagship smartphone will be launched in China on October 20, 2025. Having said that, the company will also launch some other products including the iQOO Pad 5e, iQOO Watch GT 2, and iQOO TWS 5 during the same event.
The upcoming iQOO 15 will come with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor along with a dedicated chipset – Q3 for gaming. The device will also come with a colour changing back panel along with a large battery and more.
Moto G06 Power launched in India

The device comes with a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with 600 nits of peak brightness. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC along with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM (with an additional 12GB of virtual RAM) and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 1TB. The device runs on the Android 15 operating system out of the box.
It features a 50MP Quad Pixel camera along with an ambient light sensor and dual LED flash, while the front features an 8MP camera. The device also features IP54 water and dust resistance, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. The device houses a massive 7,000mAh battery along with 18W fast wired charging. The device is priced at ₹7,499, and it will be available from October 11 via Flipkart, Motorola India, and other major retailers.

Realme gets a new camera partner

Realme has finally announced the collaboration with the Japanese imaging brand Ricoh for its next generation flagship smartphone dubbed the Realme GT 8 Pro which will be announced in China this month. It is also said that this collaboration has reportedly been four years in the making and the same explains the “4 years in one snap” tagline in the teaser image. The company says that the upcoming smartphone’s camera system is powered by Ricoh GR, the company’s well-known line of point-and-shoot digital cameras.
It will be capable to offer an “unprecedented imaging experience,” that offer “groundbreaking innovations” in optics, color science, and image processing. The company has also said that the coming device will be capable to feature a custom camera interface designed to mimic the feel of a Ricoh GR. The smartphone brand is placing a special emphasis on street photography through this partnership, a genre long associated with Ricoh’s compact cameras.
