At MWC this year Nokia revealed Nokia 3, 5 & 6. These are their new line-up of Android smartphones. From that time everyone are waiting for these phones, especially Indian people. Last month Nokia did launched their 3310 in India that is doing well. But as this is the smartphone era, many people are waiting for the Nokia Android smartphones. Now today finally Nokia 3, 5 & 6 are launched in India. So let’s have a look at all three images..
1st let’s talk about Nokia 3, this is the entry level phone by Nokia with some above average specs. This phone comes with MediaTek MT6737 quad core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz . It sports a 5.0” 720p IPS LCD HD display with 2.5D glass & Gorilla Glass protection on top. The RAM on this phone is 2GB & internal storage is 16GB which is expandable via MicroSd Card. The Rear Camera is an 8MP shooter with f2.0 lens, LED flash and the Front Camera is also an 8MP shooter with f2.0 lens & also with autofocus. This phone is built from polycarbonate and aluminium frames. It runs on Android 7.0 nougat out of the box with near stock UI. The battery has the capacity of 2630mah.
The 2nd phone launched is Nokia 5, which is a budget segment phone by Nokia with slight upgrades from Nokia 3. This comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz . It sports a 5.2” 720p IPS LCD HD display with 2.5D curved glass & Gorilla Glass protection on top. It also has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with expandable memory via MicroSd Card. The Rear Camera is a 13MP shooter with f2.0 lens, PDAF and 8MP Front Camera with f.20 lens, autofocus. This phone is built on unibody metal build. It runs on Android 7.1.1 out of the box with Nokia’s near stock UI. The battery capacity is 3000mah.
Now coming to the 3rd phone of the list that’s Nokia 6, this phone as of now is the flagship of Nokia, but with midrange specs. This phone also comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa core processor that’s clocked at 1.4Ghz . It sports a 5.5” 1080p Full HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass & Gorilla Glass protection on top. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with expandable storage via MicroSd Card. The Rear Camera is a 16MP shooter with f2.0 lens, PDAF and the Front Camera is an 8MP shooter with f2.0 lens & autofocus. It is built from aluminium that looks & feels more premium than other two phones. It runs on Android 7.1.1 out of the box with Nokia’s near stock UI. The battery capacity of this phone is 3000mah. The home button on the front also works as fingerprint sensor and there are Dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
So these are the phones which was announced today. Below are the details of the availability & offers of all three phones :
1. Nokia 3 will be available in offline market from over 80,000 stores across the country. The sales will start from 16th of July.
2. Nokia 5 will also be available in offline market from over 80,000 stores across the country. The sales will start from 7th of July. There are launch offers from Vodafone & MakeMyTrip.
3. Nokia 6 will be exclusive to Amazon India. The 1st flash sales will be on 14th of July. There are launch offers from Vodafone, MakeMyTrip, and Amazon India.
Now coming to the pricing which we all wanted to know, the lists of pricing of all three phones are given below :
• Nokia 3: INR 9,499
• Nokia 5: INR 12,899
• Nokia 6: INR 14,999
So that’s all the information we have as of now. These phones are priced a bit less as compared to other regions because all three phones are Made in India. But if we look at the competition, there are phones which gives a lot more value for money on paper. So let’s wait whether these phones will give competition in end user experience, as Nokia did promise faster software updates with monthly security updates as well.
