OnePlus’s last year’s flagship phones, OnePlus 3 and 3T, are still getting software updates. If you recall last month they released OOS 4.1.7 update that has lot’s of optimization, bug fixes and security patch. But some people still wants more new customization which Open Beta ROM has. Now OnePlus has released another software update which brings a lot of new things to both devices.
They have released OOS 4.5.0 for both OnePlus 3 and 3T. It contains a lot of new things which were in Open Beta as of now. The update has the size of 197MB. Below is the whole changelog:
System
- Added lift up display
- Added Gaming Do Not Disturb
- Added low priority notification
- Added network speed in status bar
- Added scheduled night mode
- Added OnePlus Slate font
- Redesigned Dash Charge animation
- System stability and battery improvements.
Launcher
- Added Shot on OnePlus wallpaper.
Phone
- Redesigned calling UI
Camera / Gallery
- Added Shot on OnePlus watermark
- Redesigned photo editor in Gallery
File Manager
- Added secure box
I guess now the stable version is near to Open Beta in terms of new features. Also we are getting feedback from some users, and they are claiming that the battery life is significantly improved after this OOS 4.5.0 update.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. After few months the stock users will become same as Open Beta, when it will get Oreo update. Until then seems like this is a good & stable update as compared to previous update. Stay tuned with us for more information.
