After unveiling the OnePlus 5 smartphone, OnePlus launched the phone in their most successful market, India. They also organised a pop-up sale in some big cities of India. But if we talk about online sales, it is exclusively available on Amazon India. Seems like OnePlus 5 is very successful phone on Amazon India.
OnePlus India’s official social networking handles posted that : ‘The OnePlus 5 is now the highest grossing phone in the launch week on Amazon India ! A huge thanks to our community who made this feat possible’. So as of now we can consider OnePlus 5 a big hit in India despite some controversies that happened around the launch. Neither OnePlus nor Amazon India mentioned exact or estimated sales figure, but OnePlus also said that OnePlus 5 is sold 3 times more than OnePlus 3T, in the same time duration of 1 week.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Despite having some controversies, we think that OnePlus 5 deserves this high sales. But we hope that OnePlus will learn & try to avoid any controversies, because people can forgot any mistake 1st or even 2nd time, but 3rd time they will not forgot & may ditch buying any OnePlus product.
