The next generation of Pixel device is about to make its way in this year, and now the device is official listed on the website of US’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
The listing confirms few information which we have seen in previous rumours and leaks, along with the list reveals lots of information about the device. And one of the biggest thing is, the device will be pre-loaded with Android 8.0.1 which is known as Android O.
The listing has been filed by HTC, which confirms another rumour which said that the Pixel 2 device is making by the by the Taiwan based HTC company. The list also comes with the screenshot which mentions that the device has an ‘Active Edge’ feature in the device language input and gestures settings. This is feature signals another rumour to be true, as with this feature the will get the ability to let owner to squeeze its sides to perform various phone functions.
The similar feature we have seen in the HTC U11, and it is named as ‘Edge Sense’. The listing also suggest that the device will be come up with at least 64 GB of internal storage, and will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
So, these are all the information revealed by the FCC listing. We hope that the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be reveal by October, because the first generation of Pixel devices during that time.
