After making a tremendous entry into the telecom sector, Reliance jio is all set to enter into the DTH services. We already get a leak about the DTH service previously, but now the Reliance Jio set top-box images leaked online.
We have got couple of images of the Reliance Jio set-top box, the set-up box is shaped in rectangle and it is in black colour. The front side of the box comes with the USB port, which means users can plug-in their USB drive into the box. If we look at the back side of the box, we can see there are various connectivity ports like HDMI port, Rj- 45 port, USB port and cable-in port. We also get the glimpse of the audio video cables being attached at the back side of the set-top box, it seemingly made in Indonesia and manufactured by Samindo Electronics.
At the back side of that set-top box, you can also see ‘NOT FOR RETAIL SALE’ written which means the company is still in the testing stage, going by box packaging. The set-top box would come with remote control and an HDMI cable which will allow users to connect the box with the TV or a compatible monitor.
With the leaked images, we are not sure that the box is coming for the DTH service for the IPTV, anyways let’s wait for more the leaks or the official launch of the Reliance Jio set-top box.
