Early in this month, I updated that HMD Global is working on the 4G variant of Nokia 3310. Now we got a report which says that Reliance Jio is in talks with HMD Global to launch the 4G variant of Nokia 3310 in India. Moreover, it is also to be said that the newbie of Reliance is planning to offer exclusive bundle services on the 4G variant of Nokia 3310.
Apart from this, the report also says that HMD Global is also planning to bring back few Nokia phones such as N-Gage and E72 with 4G connectivity and better specifications, and, Jio is also interested to join its hand with the HMD Global for being the carrier partner for these devices.
Moreover, the report also says that Reliance Jio is planning to shut down the production of JioPhone and also the second round of booking because of the competition in the market. As the Rival telecom companies launched 4G smartphones, which have priced similar or even lower to the JioPhone and also with better specifications.
Well, in my opinion, the partnership between HMD Global and Reliance Jio is going to be beneficial for both the companies. As Reliance Jio will get a good and strong device to compete with other companies as well as the HMD Global will get a telecom partner, who can provide a bundle of services for the cheap price which will attract customers to buy the device.
