Galaxy S8 & S8+, the flagships of Samsung of 2017 which was launched back in March is doing a very good sales in many markets including India. The pricing of both phones in India is high as compared to some other regions like USA, still it’s doing a great sales in India as well. In April Samsung unveiled another variant of Galaxy S8+ which comes with 6 GB of RAM, now the same arrived in India as well.
Many of us was thinking that Samsung will not launch this variant in India, in fact we are thinking that this variant will be exclusive to South Korea. There are 2 differences between regular Galaxy S8+ & this variant, this variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. That’s all the difference in the internals of this 6GB RAM variant. Even the processor is same in this, which is Exynos 8895. This phone is Priced at Rs.74,999 ($1,164) which is Rs.10,000 more than the 4GB RAM variant of Galaxy S8+. This phone will be available from Samsung stores & Flipkart from 9th June. Pre-orders will start from tomorrow. Those who will pre-order this phone will get wireless charger for free.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally I feel that this 6GB RAM variant is very overpriced for what they are giving. An extra GB of RAM & 64GB more storage for Rs.10,000 ? What are your thoughts on the pricing of this phone ? Do let us know in the comments below. Stay tuned with us for more information.
